The Shadow Plane is a mirror of the Material Plane, only shrouded in darkness. All objects (though not creatures) in the Material Plane have a shadowy analog. Time and distance have little meaning in the shadow realm, and spellcasters who enter the Plane of Shadow can easily travel great distances across it, reemerging in the corresponding location on the Material Plane in a brief time. The Shadow Plane only intersects Eberron and the Material Plane, and is not reachable from the other planes in the Eberron cosmology.[1]
Inhabitants
Edit
- Furtive Filchers are said to be created from the stuff of the Shadow Plane.[1]
- The home city of the Illumians is on the Shadow Plane.[2]
- The Shadowswyft are descended from creatures from the Shadow Plane.[2]
Note
Edit
The Shadow Plane is not to be confused with the plane Mabar, the Endless Night.
