Primordial
Script Barazhad
Spoken by Efreeti, Elementals

Primordial is the language of the elementals of the various planes of Eberron. Primordial shares the same script as the Abyssal language: Barazhad.[1]

Behind the ScenesEdit

Int he third edition mechanics, each of the elemental types (Air, Earth, Fire, and Water) spoke their own languages (Auran, Terran, Ignan, and Aquan, respectively). However, Wizards of the Coast consolidated languages with the release of the fourth edition. In fourth edition, all elementals speak Primordial. In fifth edition, the individual languages have returned as mutually intelligible dialects of the Primordial language.
