Otharaunt is an Aundairan fortification on the western border of the nation of Aundair. It lies near the coast of Eldeen Bay, between Whisper Woods and the Chanthwood, due north of Wyr.[1][2]
History[]
After the Eldeen Wolves rebels kidnapped a large group of archeologists and their workers on an expedition from the University of Wynarn in 998 YK, they issued an ultimatum to Otharaunt Fortress, demanding Aundair leave the Wynarn River Valley that marks the border with the Eldeen Reaches. This was reported in the Dravago 22nd issue Sharn Inquisitive.[3]
Shortly after, Colonel Borchar of Otharaunt spoke to the Sharn Inquisitive and declared that the soldiers of Otharaunt had no involvement after an aid caravan was destroyed near Salanoux. This was reported in the Nymm 8th issue.[4]
