A ghulra is a sigil engraved on the forehead of a warforged. Every warforged ghulra is as unique as a human fingerprint. The origin of the ghulra is unknown: When Aaren d'Cannith's first warforged emerged from the creation forge, it bore a symbol on its forehead; the second warforged had a different sigil. Aaren's dwarven magewrights called these symbols "ghulra," the dwarven word for "truth," though some warforged refer to it as the "Mark of Life."[1][2][3]

If a warforged possesses the ability to cast arcane mark, its personal mark will be the same as the sigil on its forehead.[1]
