Gaven d'Lyrandar is a half-elf formerly of House Lyrandar, though he was excoriated after being convicted of committing war crimes during the Last War. He was imprisoned in Dreadhold for twenty six years before he finally escaped with the help of the Aundairan general, Haldren ir'Brassek. After escaping from Dreadhold he went on an adventure going around the entire continent, and ended up fighting the blasphemer Kathrik Mel to decide the fate of the world.

He bears a Siberys Mark of Storm and is believed by some to be the Storm Dragon, a figure from the Draconic Prophecy.
