Dragonmark Heirs are the most powerful of the dragonmarked members of the Dragonmarked Houses. These individuals display an ability to improve and use their dragonmark powers in ways that go well beyond others in their houses. Dragonmark Heirs command a degree of respect from unmarked members of the house, though a more powerful mark does not necessarily equate to a position of leadership.
Some of the magical equipment designed by the Dragonmarked Houses is designed to be used by Dragonmark Heirs, such as the lightning rail, sending stones and airships.[1]
