A delver's light is a warforged component that can be embedded in a warforged's head or chest. This magical gem, once activated, gives off light in all directions, powered by the warforged's life force.[1]
4th Edition Mechanics

The delver's light can either A) shed dim light up to a radius of 20 squares or B) shed bright light up to a radius of 20 squares. It is a free action to activate either of these abilities, as well as a free action to deactivate the light.[1]
