Corruptures are oozes created from the warping of nature. Created on the Day of Mourning, corruptures emerged from the dead gray mists to threaten nations neighboring the Mournland, especially Darguun, Thrane, and the Talenta Plains.[1]

Corruptures are disgusting gelatinous blobs, covered in pustules that erupt. They can appear any color, from tan to pink, and sometimes even red. Webs of veins and bruises crisscross its acid-filled flesh. Mindlessly hungering for meat, corruptures instinctively move towards any moving creature.[1]

Like other oozes, corruptures are covered in acid. Their acid burns away anything it touches, especially organic material. Corruptures' pustules can explode, spouting acid out in a large burst. Corruptures are also aquatic in nature, and can live easily in bodies of water. Because of their nature, corruptures are immune to acid attacks.[1]
