While he is a high-ranking member of the House of Storm, as his placement as captain of such a high-profile vessel indicates, his career previous to his current commission has been somewhat rocky with several vessels suffering accidents under his command, so his management of this key commission will likely determine his ultimate status in the house.

His first mate on the Golden Dragon is Lieutenant Mazzia d'Lyrandar, who bears a least Mark of Storm.
